The Supreme Court has deferred the hearing of a plea challenging the NEET-UG re-test to a date after July 13. The re-test is currently scheduled for June 21.
The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing concerning a plea that challenged the re-examination of the NEET-UG medical entrance test. The bench responsible for hearing the case, presided over by Justice Narasimha, is slated to resume functioning only after July 13.
This adjournment means the court will not hear the plea before the scheduled re-test date. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) re-test is currently slated to take place on June 21.
The delay in judicial proceedings effectively renders the plea seeking to halt or alter the re-test date infructuous, as the court will convene to hear the matter well after the examination is expected to be conducted.
