Indian experimental pop group Sunflower Tape Machine has released their latest dense sonic album, 'I LIKE NOISE. MATTER OF FACT, I LOVE IT', featuring a barrage of layered noise and pop textures.
Sunflower Tape Machine, the Mumbai‑based experimental pop outfit, has announced the release of their new album titled 'I LIKE NOISE. MATTER OF FACT, I LOVE IT'. The record promises a dense sonic landscape, blending aggressive noise elements with pop sensibilities.
The album is described as a 'sonic bed' where layers of distortion, feedback, and rhythmic pulses coexist, creating an immersive listening experience. Critics have noted that the group continues to push the boundaries of conventional pop by incorporating abrasive textures without sacrificing melodic hooks.
Formed in 2015, Sunflower Tape Machine has built a reputation for their DIY approach and willingness to experiment with unconventional sounds. Their earlier releases, such as 'The Quiet Revolution', were met with acclaim for their bold sonic choices.
