Students protest at Tripura University over guest faculty appointment, teacher refutes claims

Students at Tripura University gathered on the campus to demonstrate against a guest faculty member whose conduct has been questioned by the student body. The protest was organized by a group of undergraduates who demanded that the university take immediate disciplinary action.

The protesters alleged that the guest lecturer had engaged in behavior that violated university norms, though specific details were not disclosed in the statements released by the students. In response, a regular faculty member publicly denied the accusations, stating that no formal complaint had been filed and that the allegations were unfounded.

University authorities have not issued an official comment on the matter as of now, and the situation remains under observation by the campus administration.
