Around 300 students staged a protest outside a private university in Jaipur, demanding the return of their original degree certificates and mark sheets, which they claim were withheld.
A crowd of about 300 students gathered outside a private university in Jaipur on Friday, demanding that the institution return their original degree certificates and mark sheets. The students allege that the university has been withholding these documents, preventing them from applying for jobs and higher studies.
The protest was marked by slogans and chants demanding transparency and accountability from the university administration. Students claimed that the delay was deliberate and that they had been denied access to essential academic records.
In response, the university’s registrar said that the documents were being processed and requested a week to resolve the issue. The registrar’s statement was issued after the protest had already begun.
The protest continues outside the campus, with students holding placards and demanding immediate action. No official statement has yet confirmed the return of the documents.
