The makers of 'Stree 3' have officially announced the release date for the upcoming horror-comedy starring Rajkummar Rao, marking the next chapter in the franchise.
The film 'Stree 3', the latest installment in the popular horror‑comedy series, is set to hit Indian theatres on 12 October 2024, according to a statement released by the production house. The release date was confirmed during a press meet that also highlighted the film’s planned nationwide distribution.
Starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, the movie promises to blend supernatural thrills with humor, following the success of its predecessors. Director Amar Kaushik, who helmed the first two films, is expected to return to the director’s chair, while the screenplay is being crafted by a team of writers familiar with the franchise’s tone.
Industry analysts note that the timing of the release, positioned between the festive season and the summer blockbuster window, could help 'Stree 3' capture a wide audience base. The film’s promotional campaign is slated to begin next month, with teaser trailers and social media buzz expected to build anticipation among fans.
