During a ceremony at the state secretariat, the governor formally launched a mapping campaign focused on children diagnosed with dyslexia and autism. The initiative seeks to create a comprehensive database of affected students across schools and districts.
The collected data will be shared with the education and health departments to design specialised interventions, teacher training programmes, and therapeutic resources tailored to each child's needs.
Officials said the campaign will be conducted in partnership with special‑needs NGOs and medical experts, ensuring that identification is followed by appropriate support.
The rollout is planned in phases, beginning with a pilot in select districts before expanding to the entire state over the next twelve months.
