Special Two-Round Train to Run Between Surat and Jaipur During Festival Season

Indian Railways will operate a weekly special train between Surat (Utran) and Jaipur (Khatiypura) on 9, 10, 16 and 17 November, with stops at Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch and other stations to ease festival crowds.
Indian Railways announced a special two‑round weekly service linking Utran near Surat in Gujarat with Khatiypura near Jaipur in Rajasthan. The train is scheduled to run on 9, 10, 16 and 17 November, dates that coincide with the peak of the festive travel rush.
The service will halt at several intermediate stations in Madhya Pradesh, including Ratlam, Mandsaur and Neemuch, allowing passengers from the central belt to board without having to travel to the terminal stations. By offering additional capacity, the railway aims to reduce congestion on regular trains that are already operating at full load during the holidays.
Officials said the special train will run in both directions on the same day, completing two trips – one outbound and one return – to maximise seat availability. Ticket bookings will be opened through the regular IRCTC portal, and travelers are advised to book early as seats are expected to fill quickly.
