The Tamil comedy 'Mandaadi', starring Soori, recorded a 77% jump in its box‑office takings and crossed Rs 6.55 crore in its first ten days.
The Tamil comedy film "Mandaadi", headlined by popular comedian Soori, has amassed a total net collection of Rs 6.55 crore after ten days of theatrical run, according to trade reports. The movie’s earnings surged by 77 per cent on the tenth day, marking a significant uptick in its box‑office trajectory.
Industry analysts attribute the sharp rise to strong word‑of‑mouth promotion and the film’s appeal in smaller towns and multiplexes alike. The growth rate outpaces many contemporaneous releases, positioning "Mandaadi" as one of the faster‑gaining regional titles this month.
While exact day‑by‑day figures remain undisclosed, the ten‑day milestone underscores the film’s steady audience pull and suggests a healthy run ahead, especially as it competes with other regional offerings released in the same window.
