A son filmed his father's first attempt to use the new Apple iPhone Duo, capturing the moment he opened the foldable phone the wrong way.
A recent video shared on social media shows a son presenting his father with Apple’s latest foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The clip, reported by The Economic Times, captures the father’s initial excitement as he unboxes the device, only to discover that the screen folds in the opposite direction to what he expected.
The iPhone Duo, Apple’s first entry into the foldable market, features a dual‑screen design that can be opened like a book. While tech enthusiasts have praised its innovative form factor, the video highlights the learning curve for users unfamiliar with foldable technology, especially older adults.
The light‑hearted moment quickly went viral, sparking comments about generational gaps in tech adoption and the need for clearer user guidance. Analysts note that such real‑world reactions could influence how manufacturers design onboarding experiences for future foldable devices.
