Soldier Son-in-Law Beats Father-in-Law to Death Over Wife Quarrel in Chhindwara

A soldier son-in-law attacked his 60-year-old father-in-law with a wooden stick after the latter came to mediate a quarrel between the soldier and his wife. The victim was taken to Nagpur for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries; the accused is in police custody.
The incident occurred in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, when the soldier’s son-in-law returned home after an argument with his wife. The 60-year-old father-in-law arrived to calm the situation and was struck on the head with a wooden stick by the son-in-law.
Following the attack, the injured father-in-law was rushed to a hospital in Nagpur for advanced medical care. Despite treatment, he died from his injuries.
