Saturday’s episode of SNL UK featured a sharp‑tongued roast of Prince Harry, Prince William and Meghan Markle, reigniting public debate over the royal family.
Saturday night saw the British edition of Saturday Night Live deliver a pointed comedic roast aimed at the senior members of the British royal family. The segment lampooned Prince Harry, Prince William and Meghan Markle, touching on recent public appearances and media scrutiny. While the show is known for its satirical edge, the jokes sparked a fresh wave of discussion on social media, with viewers divided over the appropriateness of the humor.
The roast was part of SNL UK’s regular lineup, which often mirrors the American version’s style of blending current events with celebrity impersonations. In this instance, the writers focused on the trio’s high‑profile moments, using exaggeration and irony to highlight perceived contradictions in their public narratives.
Reactions online ranged from applause for the bold satire to criticism that the jokes crossed a line of respect for the monarchy. No official comment has been issued by the royal household, but the episode has already become a trending topic across Indian and international platforms.
