The Special Investigation Team (SIT) actively investigating the 2015 sacrilege and Behbal Kalan firing incident has escalated its actions. As part of its ongoing probe, the SIT has summoned former Union Minister Vijay Sampla to appear before it. The team is also seeking the presence of a former Deputy Commissioner (DC) and an ex-Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Parkash Singh Badal.
