Sikkim: Namchi DC Assesses Flood Damage in Lingi-Paiyong, Orders Relief

The Deputy Commissioner of Namchi reviewed flood damage in Lingi-Paiyong and directed authorities to initiate immediate relief and restoration efforts.
In Sikkim, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Namchi undertook a review of the flood damage that occurred in the Lingi-Paiyong areas. The visit followed recent flood incidents that caused significant disruption.
Following the assessment, the DC issued directives for prompt relief measures to be provided to affected residents. Emphasis was placed on the immediate restoration of damaged infrastructure and essential services.
Authorities have been instructed to expedite the process of providing necessary aid and to begin repair work without delay to mitigate further hardship for the local population.
