In Sikar, Rajasthan, meteorological reports show increasing humidity levels while rainfall remains absent. Nighttime temperatures are on the rise, and forecasts predict that rain will likely arrive only after August.

Meteorological data from the Indian Meteorological Department indicates that Sikar is experiencing a noticeable rise in humidity, even as rainfall has been scarce over the past days.

Humidity levels have climbed to around 70%, a significant increase from the early week’s 55%. Residents have reported a muggy feel, especially during the evenings.

Nighttime temperatures have also shown an upward trend, with readings reaching 28°C, higher than the 24°C recorded earlier in the week. This rise is attributed to the lingering heat from the day and the lack of cloud cover.

Weather experts warn that the region is unlikely to see rain until after August, as the monsoon front is still several hundred kilometers away. The forecast calls for dry conditions to continue through the rest of the month.
