India, under Shubman Gill’s captaincy, will play the third and series‑deciding ODI against West Indies at the PCA New Mulllanpur Cricket Stadium on Friday.
India’s limited‑overs squad will take the field at the PCA New Mulllanpur Cricket Stadium on Friday for the final match of a three‑game One Day International series against the West Indies. The encounter is the third and decisive fixture, with the series outcome hanging in the balance. Shubman Gill, the son of former Punjab cricketer Yograj Singh, has been handed the captaincy for this match, marking his first stint leading the national side in an ODI.
The West Indies team arrived earlier in the week for practice sessions and a warm‑up game, while the Indian side has been preparing under the guidance of head coach Rahul Dravid. Both teams will be looking to field their strongest line‑ups, as the winner will clinch the series.
Cricket fans in Punjab and across the country are expected to tune in to the live broadcast, with the stadium expected to host a vibrant crowd despite the evening match timing. The result will not only decide the series winner but also provide early insight into Gill’s leadership style on the international stage.
