Shiv Sena activists attacked while freeing cows from underground tunnel in Moga

In Moga, Punjab, activists of Shiv Sena and Nihang Singh were assaulted with bricks and swords while attempting to release 8-10 cows kept 15 feet underground in a tunnel beneath a slum area, leaving one seriously injured.
Police reports indicate that a makeshift tunnel was constructed beneath a road in the slum area along the Dune Ke Nahar in Moga, where approximately eight to ten cows were allegedly confined about 15 feet underground.
Members of Shiv Sena and the Nihang Singh group entered the site to free the animals, but were met with violent resistance. Witnesses say a mob armed with bricks and swords attacked the activists, causing chaos and injuries.
One of the rescuers sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on the illegal confinement of the cows and the assault on the activists.
