Shahdol: Illicit Sand Storage Destroyed

In a significant crackdown on illegal sand mining, a joint team of officials from the mining, revenue, and police departments in Shahdol's Jaitpur area has taken strong action. The team, acting on the instructions of the Collector and SP, used a JCB machine to destroy around 210 cubic meters of illicit sand storage. The operation was part of a larger effort to curb illegal sand mining in the region. A suspicious high-bed truck without a number plate was also found during the operation, and an investigation is underway to identify its owner.
