A delegation from the Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has arrived in Nepal earlier this week to visit areas severely affected by recent floods.
The SGPC delegation, which represents the Sikh community in India, is conducting a ground assessment of the damage caused by the floods that have disrupted life in several districts.
Officials from local authorities and relief agencies have welcomed the delegation and are discussing ways the SGPC can support relief efforts, including potential donations and volunteer assistance.
