Services skipper Rajat Paliwal has a peculiar habit of never glancing at the scoreboard, saying it keeps his concentration intact during matches.
Rajat Paliwal, the skipper of the Services cricket team, has been observed keeping his eyes away from the scoreboard throughout matches.
The captain explains that looking at the numbers distracts him from the game at hand, and he prefers to stay fully engaged with the play.
Coaches and teammates have noted that this habit does not affect his decision‑making; on the contrary, it seems to help him maintain a calm, focused mindset.
Since adopting this practice, Services has seen a steady improvement in their on‑field performance, with Paliwal’s leadership often cited as a key factor.
