Sehore: NGT Norms Flouted, 3 Machines Seized

The National Green Tribunal's (NGT) norms were being openly flouted in Sehore. The sand mafia was found to be operating without regard for environmental regulations. In a surprise move, a team raided the site and seized 3 submersible machines and 5 JCBs. The action is seen as a crackdown on illegal sand mining activities in the area. The NGT had earlier imposed restrictions on such activities to protect the environment.
