Second Phase of Miri‑Piri Khalsa March Departs Ludhiana for Anandpur Sahib

The Miri‑Piri Khalsa March entered its second phase on Saturday, with a procession setting out from Ludhiana and moving towards Anandpur Sahib. Organisers, representing Sikh religious groups, marked the departure with a brief ceremony at a local gurdwara before the march commenced.

The route will take participants through several towns in Punjab, culminating at the revered Anandpur Sahib, a site of great significance in Sikh history. Pilgrims and volunteers are expected to walk the distance over several days, observing traditional rites and reciting hymns along the way.
