The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) held a ceremony in New Delhi to mark its 15th foundation day. The event brought together senior officials, industry representatives and media personnel to commemorate the milestone.
The celebration underscored fifteen years of SECI’s work as the nodal agency for solar projects under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. Since its inception, the corporation has been instrumental in driving large‑scale solar installations across the nation.
During the programme, SECI officials highlighted the organisation’s contribution to the growth of renewable energy capacity and reaffirmed its commitment to further accelerate solar deployment in line with national targets.
The ceremony also served as a platform to acknowledge the efforts of state and private partners who have collaborated with SECI in implementing solar parks, rooftop projects and other initiatives aimed at reducing the country’s carbon footprint.
