Senior BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday raised strong objections to what he described as corruption in a Rs 113 crore sewer construction project in Madhya Pradesh. He said the financial outlay of the scheme appears to have been misused and called for an immediate inquiry.
Scindia made the remarks during a press interaction in Bhopal, stating that the alleged irregularities could undermine public confidence in infrastructure development. He urged the state government to cooperate fully with any investigative agency that may be appointed.
