The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of scattered showers and intermittent thundershowers across Jammu and Kashmir in the coming days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a weather outlook indicating that scattered rain showers and intermittent thundershowers will affect large parts of Jammu and Kashmir over the next 24‑48 hours.
The advisory covers both the Kashmir Valley and the Jammu region, with the most intense activity expected in higher‑altitude zones where thunderstorms may be accompanied by gusty winds.
Authorities have urged residents to stay alert, avoid non‑essential travel in exposed areas and secure loose objects that could be blown by sudden gusts. The IMD will continue to monitor the system and issue updates as conditions evolve.
