Unknown thieves damaged an SBI ATM located about 300 metres from the Kartaah police station in Vaishali, Bihar, and police have taken one suspect into custody.
Police officials in Vaishali district reported that a group of unidentified individuals targeted an SBI ATM situated roughly 300 metres from the Kartaah police station. The perpetrators forced open the machine's shutter and caused extensive damage to the equipment.
Local law enforcement arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. While the ATM was rendered inoperable, no cash was reported stolen, and the damage appears limited to the hardware.
