Director Sasi has clarified that the Tamil film 'Nooru Kodi Vaanavil' bypassed a theatrical release due to distribution and marketing considerations.
Director Sasi has addressed rumours surrounding the absence of a theatrical release for the film 'Nooru Kodi Vaanavil'. In a recent statement, he explained that the decision was driven by strategic distribution choices aimed at reaching a wider audience through alternative platforms.
Sasi noted that the film’s production team opted for a digital release strategy, citing cost‑efficiency and the changing viewing habits of audiences as key factors. He added that the move would allow the movie to be accessible to viewers across the country without the constraints of a traditional cinema rollout.
Industry observers have pointed out that such a shift is increasingly common in the Indian film market, where streaming services offer a viable alternative to conventional theatrical releases. Sasi remains optimistic that the film will find success through its chosen distribution channels.
