Sanju Samson hails team effort behind India's record chase

India posted a new benchmark by successfully chasing a high total in a recent international match, marking the country's biggest run‑chase in the format to date. Wicket‑keeper Sanju Samson, who played a pivotal role in the innings, emphasized that the achievement was not the result of any single performance but a cohesive team display.

Samson highlighted the contributions across the batting order, noting that each player executed their roles under pressure, which allowed the side to maintain momentum throughout the chase. The bowlers' earlier efforts in restricting the opposition also set a foundation for the successful pursuit.

The record chase underscores India's growing depth and adaptability in high‑stakes scenarios, and team management expressed optimism that such collective confidence will bolster upcoming fixtures. Samson's remarks reflect a broader sentiment within the camp that teamwork remains the cornerstone of India's cricketing success.
