Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper‑batsman Sanju Samson reserved an entire screen for the Tamil‑dubbed screening of "Jailer 2" and invited Tamil‑speaking members of the Indian cricket squad to attend.
Sanju Samson, the Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper‑batsman, booked an entire theatre for the Tamil‑dubbed screening of the upcoming film "Jailer 2". The reservation covered all seats, allowing a private viewing experience for invited guests.
Samson extended the invitation to several Tamil‑speaking members of the Indian cricket team, who joined him for the premiere. The cricketers arrived together with the star, creating a lively atmosphere that blended sport and cinema.
The gesture underscores the growing synergy between India's film industry and its cricketing icons, with athletes increasingly participating in promotional events for major releases. "Jailer 2" is the sequel to the popular Tamil action film that performed strongly at the box office.
Industry observers note that such cross‑promotions help broaden a film's reach across diverse linguistic audiences, while offering cricketers a platform to engage with fans beyond the stadium.
