Sanchore MLA requests election date shift, cites Nov 4-6 festivals

Sanchore MLA has formally appealed to the election authorities to reconsider the scheduled polling date, stating that the timing clashes with major local festivals. He highlighted that the celebrations on November 4 and November 6 are likely to keep a large portion of the electorate occupied, potentially affecting voter turnout. The request underscores concerns that festive commitments could limit citizens' ability to reach polling stations. No official response from the Election Commission has been reported yet, and the matter remains under review. The MLA urged that any rescheduling should ensure a smooth and inclusive voting process for the constituency.
