The upcoming Salman Khan starrer ‘Maatrubhumi’ has secured a No‑Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, allowing production to proceed.
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has issued a No‑Objection Certificate (NOC) for Salman Khan’s upcoming film “Maatrubhumi”, clearing a major regulatory hurdle for the project.
The NOC confirms that the film’s content complies with the ministry’s guidelines on censorship, language and public morality, enabling the producers to move forward with shooting and post‑production activities without further clearance delays.
Industry observers note that obtaining the NOC is a critical step for any high‑profile Bollywood venture, especially one featuring a star of Khan’s stature, as it paves the way for distributors and exhibitors to schedule releases.
The production house has not disclosed a definitive release date yet, but the clearance is expected to accelerate promotional plans and secure theatre slots for the film’s eventual launch.
