Saini visits Singapore’s Suntec City to study models for Gurugram convention centre

Saini, a senior Indian official overseeing large‑scale projects, arrived in Singapore to tour Suntec City, a landmark mixed‑use development that houses one of the region’s busiest convention facilities. The visit was aimed at studying the architectural layout, operational logistics and sustainability features that could be replicated in the planned Gurugram convention centre. Officials accompanying Saini met with Suntec City’s management team to discuss design standards, technology integration and crowd‑management systems. Insights gathered are expected to feed into the master plan for Gurugram’s centre, which is projected to boost the city’s MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) sector. The delegation will compile a report for the Haryana government after the trip.
