The co‑creator of Roseanne Barr’s self‑produced TV series says the show is now courting distribution partners, according to IMDb.
Roseanne Barr has taken the unusual step of producing her own television series, a move that places her directly behind the camera as well as in front of it. The project, which bears her name, is now actively seeking distribution partners to bring the show to a wider audience.
According to a statement relayed by the series’ co‑creator, the search for distributors has entered a formal phase. The co‑creator confirmed that negotiations are underway, though no specific broadcasters or streaming platforms have been named.
The development reflects a broader trend of established talent pursuing independent production routes to retain creative control. While details on the series’ format or release schedule remain limited, the announcement signals that the project is moving beyond development toward market placement.
