Employees of Rajasthan Iron and Steel Company have petitioned the Prime Minister’s Office to clear outstanding salaries, VRS-2 and VRS-3 settlements, and family pensions, citing a ₹900 crore emergency reserve and ₹195 crore cash balance at the plant.

Employees of Rajasthan Iron and Steel Company (RINL) in Bhilwara have formally requested the Prime Minister’s Office to settle pending salaries and various pension schemes. The petition highlights that workers have not received their wages, VRS-2 and VRS-3 settlements, or family and widow pensions. RINL’s management points to an emergency reserve fund exceeding ₹900 crore and a cash balance of ₹195 crore, arguing that the company has sufficient liquidity to meet these obligations. The appeal underscores the urgency for the central government to intervene and ensure timely payment to the affected workforce.
