The government has appointed retired Air Marshal Jiteendra Mishra as the chief executive officer of the Ram Mandir trust in Ayodhya, citing his leadership experience from the Western Air Command.
The Ministry of Culture announced that retired Air Marshal Jiteendra Mishra has been appointed as the chief executive officer of the Ram Mandir trust, which oversees the newly constructed temple in Ayodhya.
Mishra, who retired from the Indian Air Force after a distinguished career, previously commanded the Western Air Command and was at the helm during Operation Sindoor, a high‑altitude logistics operation supporting the temple’s construction.
As CEO, Mishra will be responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of the trust, including financial management, coordination of pilgrim services, and liaison with government agencies.
Officials said his military background and experience in large‑scale project management are expected to bring disciplined oversight to the temple’s operations and ensure transparency in its affairs.
