Retired Abkari Officer Assaulted at Home, Traffic Constable Charged in Gwalior

Police have filed a case against a traffic constable for assaulting a retired abkari officer at his Gwalior residence, citing CCTV footage and witness statements.
A retired abkari (liquor control) officer reported that he was physically assaulted inside his home in Gwalior. According to the complaint, a traffic constable entered the premises and attacked the officer, using abusive language and issuing threats.
The Gwalior police registered a case under relevant sections covering assault, verbal abuse and intimidation. Investigators have collected CCTV recordings of the incident and taken statements from both the victim and the accused, along with any available eyewitnesses.
