The regulation permitting the Jammu and Kashmir High Court to sit in Ladakh came into force on September 5. It allows the court to conduct proceedings through a dedicated bench in the union territory.
The regulation that allows the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to conduct sittings in Ladakh came into force on September 5.
From this date, the High Court is authorized to establish a bench for its proceedings within the union territory.
The implementation of the regulation means that judicial hearings can now be held in Ladakh under the authority of the High Court.
