RBSE Unveils 40‑Question Answer Sheets; Extra Sheets Return to Old Format

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has announced new answer sheets containing 40 questions each. Students who request additional sheets will receive the older format.
RBSE has announced a change to the answer sheets used in its secondary examinations, introducing a new format that will contain 40 questions per sheet. The move is aimed at standardising the marking process and ensuring that all students have a consistent layout for their responses.
Under the new scheme, each answer sheet will be pre‑printed with 40 question slots, replacing the previous variable‑length format. The board has said that the change will take effect from the upcoming exam cycle, and teachers will receive training on how to use the new sheets.
Students who request additional sheets beyond the allotted 40 will be issued the older format, as the board has decided to keep the legacy layout for supplementary material. The policy is intended to manage the supply of answer sheets while maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
