The Rashmika‑Vijay starrer ‘Ranabaali’ has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification without any cuts, just as it prepares to compete with the upcoming ‘Jailer 2’.
The Tamil‑language film ‘Ranabaali’, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay, is set to release later this year. The movie, directed by a noted filmmaker, has generated buzz due to its high‑octane action and star power.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film a U/A certificate and, notably, did not require any cuts or modifications to the content. Officials said the film complies with the board’s guidelines on language, violence and thematic elements.
Industry observers note that the clean certification comes at a crucial moment, as ‘Ranabaali’ is expected to clash at the box office with the much‑anticipated sequel ‘Jailer 2’, which is slated for a near‑simultaneous release. Analysts predict a tight competition for screen space and audience attention in the coming weeks.
