Rao Narendra Singh Highlights Gap in Haryana's Education Progress Using UDISE+ Data

✍️ The Times of India 🗓 27 Jul 2026, 10:18 PM 👁 1

Haryana legislator Rao Narendra Singh has used UDISE+ statistics to claim that the state’s educational development is falling short of expectations.

In a recent statement, Rao Narendra Singh, a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, cited data from the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE+) to argue that Haryana’s education system is not keeping pace with national benchmarks. The data, which tracks enrollment, attendance, and infrastructure across schools, shows a noticeable gap between the state’s performance and the targets set by the Ministry of Education. Singh called on state authorities to review the figures and implement measures to close the shortfall. He emphasized that timely action is essential to ensure that students in Haryana receive quality education and that the state meets its developmental goals.
