The Rajasthan forest department has barred ten nature guides and a vehicle driver from entering Ranthambore Tiger Reserve after they violated safari regulations.
Sawai Madhopur's Ranthambore Tiger Reserve has taken disciplinary action against a group of safari personnel. The forest department identified that ten nature guides and the driver of a safari vehicle breached the reserve's established protocols during a recent tour.
According to the department's statement, the violations involved unauthorized entry into restricted zones and failure to adhere to the prescribed speed limits and wildlife observation guidelines. Such actions are considered serious as they can disturb the habitat of tigers and other protected species.
As a result, the officials issued an immediate prohibition preventing the ten guides and the driver from entering the park until further notice. The ban serves as a warning to other safari operators to strictly follow conservation rules.
