Ranthambore On Alert

As the monsoon season sets in, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan has taken measures to safeguard pilgrims and forest staff. The reserve has made elaborate arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents, particularly tiger attacks. The core area of the reserve, which is prone to heavy rainfall and increased wildlife activity, will remain closed for safari till September 30. This move is expected to minimize the risk of encounters between humans and wild animals. The forest department has also taken steps to ensure the safety of its staff, who will be working in the reserve during the monsoon season.
