Rumours claim Ranbir Kapoor helped secure a Diwali 2027 release for Prabhas after the delay of Ramayana 2.
According to reports from Sacnilk, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor allegedly assisted actor Prabhas in securing a Diwali 2027 release following the delay of the highly anticipated Ramayana 2. The move is said to have been aimed at ensuring the film’s commercial viability during the lucrative Diwali season.
In India, Diwali releases are among the most profitable, drawing large audiences and generating significant box‑office revenue. Securing a slot in this window is therefore a coveted goal for filmmakers and stars alike.
Prabhas, best known for his work in the Baahubali franchise, has been awaiting the release of Ramayana 2. With the project’s schedule pushed back, the actor reportedly turned to Kapoor for support in navigating distribution and release negotiations.
No official statements have been issued by either actor or the production house, and the claim remains unverified. Industry observers note that such rumors often circulate during periods of uncertainty in film releases.
