The Telugu action‑thriller Ranabaali collected over ₹16 crore worldwide on its first day, marking Vijay Deverakonda’s fifth highest opening despite falling short of his career best Kingdom.
Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda, opened across India and overseas on Thursday and amassed a worldwide gross of more than ₹16 crore on its first day. The figure places the film among Deverakonda’s top five openings, a milestone he achieved with earlier releases such as Naa Peru Surya and RRR.
While the opening was robust, it still trailed the actor’s career‑best opening of Kingdom, which earned over ₹20 crore on day one. Analysts attribute the strong start to the film’s high‑profile cast and a well‑timed release during the holiday season.
Box‑office trackers note that the domestic share of the ₹16 crore is approximately ₹12 crore, with the remaining earnings coming from international markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The film’s distributor expects the total worldwide gross to exceed ₹30 crore by the end of its theatrical run.
