Organisers in Nayagaon, Mohali are speeding up the set-up for the upcoming Ramleela performance, with stages and decorations nearing completion.
Local cultural committees in Nayagaon, a suburb of Mohali, have intensified efforts to ready the venue for this year's Ramleela. Construction crews are finalising the temporary stage, while volunteers install traditional backdrops and lighting fixtures.
Authorities have cleared the area for the expected crowd, ensuring safety measures such as crowd control barriers and medical aid stations. The event, which traditionally draws families from across the region, is scheduled to commence later this week.
Organisers anticipate a large turnout and have coordinated with local police for traffic management. The accelerated pace reflects both community enthusiasm and the desire to adhere to the festival's timeline despite recent logistical challenges.
