On its ninth day, Rajinikanth’s sequel 'Jailer 2' emerged as the top‑grossing film in India, overtaking 'Border 2' and 'Hanuman Ansh', according to India Today.
Rajinikanth’s much‑anticipated sequel, "Jailer 2," recorded its ninth consecutive day at the top of the Indian box‑office, according to figures reported by India Today. The film’s earnings for the day placed it ahead of the newly released "Border 2" and the mythological drama "Hanuman Ansh," both of which had been competing for the same audience segment.
Industry analysts noted that the sustained performance reflects the star power of Rajinikanth and the strong word‑of‑mouth promotion surrounding the movie. While exact collection numbers were not disclosed, the ranking indicates a clear lead over its rivals in the current weekend window.
