The Rajasthan government announced plans to align the standards of its polytechnic institutions with the requirements of the state's industrial sector.
The state government of Rajasthan said it will revamp the quality standards of its polytechnic colleges to better serve the needs of local industry.
The initiative will involve a systematic review of curricula, upskilling of faculty and improvements in laboratory and workshop infrastructure so that graduates acquire skills directly relevant to manufacturers and service providers.
Officials indicated that the changes aim to boost employability of diploma holders and support the state's broader goal of fostering a skilled workforce for emerging sectors.
Implementation will be coordinated with industry bodies and may be rolled out in phases across the state's technical education network.
