Rajasthan ATS ADGP Dinesh MN highlighted the growing threat of drones ferrying drugs and weapons across the Pakistan border, urging intensified surveillance and coordinated action.
Rajasthan Anti‑Terrorism Squad (ATS) Director General of Police (ADGP) Dinesh MN addressed the press today, warning that drones are increasingly used to transport drugs and weapons across the Pakistan border.
The officer said the trend poses a serious security challenge for the state, as the aircraft can bypass conventional checkpoints and land in remote areas.
He added that the police have already taken action against a network that ranges from local smugglers to overseas gang members involved in the operation.
Dinesh MN urged the authorities to strengthen aerial surveillance and to collaborate with border agencies to curb the illicit trade.
