Bhilwara police have arrested a 19-year-old student for allegedly selling fake question papers for the RE-NEET examination on a Telegram channel. The accused was reportedly charging Rs 4,000 per paper.

A 19-year-old student has been apprehended by the Bhilwara police in Rajasthan for his alleged involvement in selling counterfeit question papers for the RE-NEET examination. The arrest was made three days prior to the scheduled exam.

The accused was reportedly operating a Telegram channel identified as 'Paper Mafia' through which he was distributing the fake papers. Investigations revealed that the student was charging candidates approximately Rs 4,000 for each purported question paper.

Authorities are examining the methods used by the student to conceal his identity, including the potential use of VPN technology, as suggested by the initial report. The operation aims to curb the activities of individuals exploiting competitive examinations by selling fraudulent materials.
