Police in Bharatpur’s Bayana area arrested main suspect Himanshu Agrawal after uncovering drugs worth about Rs 5 crore hidden in a dry well, bringing the total arrests in the case to five.
According to a statement from the Rajasthan police, the main accused in a high‑value drug case, Himanshu Agrawal, was taken into custody in the Bayana region of Bharatpur district. The operation focused on a dry well where investigators believed a large quantity of narcotics had been concealed.
Forensic teams recovered drugs estimated to be worth around Rs 5 crore from the well. The seizure was described as one of the larger drug caches uncovered in the state in recent months, highlighting the lengths to which traffickers go to hide contraband.
The arrest of Agrawal brings the total number of suspects detained in this investigation to five. Police have indicated that the probe remains ongoing, with further inquiries expected to identify additional links in the trafficking network.
