Rajasthan Monsoon Retreats, Southern Districts Await Rain

The latest weather bulletin indicates that the monsoon has receded from many parts of Rajasthan, leaving several districts dry. However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast that the southern districts, including Jodhpur, Barmer and Pali, are likely to receive showers in the coming days. The department estimates rainfall of 10 to 20 millimetres in these areas, which could help replenish groundwater but may also pose a risk of waterlogging. Local authorities and farmers have been advised to prepare for potential heavy rains and to take measures to protect crops and infrastructure.
